Cascade Range
Cascade Range Mountain range in w North America, extending from ne California across Oregon and Washington into Canada. The Cascade Tunnel, at 13km (8mi) the longest rail tunnel in the USA, passes through them. Crater Lake National Park is in the Cascades. The highest peak is Mount Rainier, at 4395m (14,410ft). The range also includes Mount St Helens, at 2549m (8363ft).
